Meet The Maserati x Bianchet UltraFino Timepiece
Celebrating 100 years of the Maserati Trident, the UltraFino Maserati brings together fine watchmaking and automotive design in a limited edition of just 100 pieces
When two houses share the same founding philosophy, a collaboration feels less like a business decision and more like an inevitability. That is exactly what Maserati and Bianchet have created with the UltraFino Maserati, a flying tourbillon timepiece unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2026 in Geneva. Limited to just 100 pieces, the release marks 100 years since the Maserati Trident first appeared.
The number carries real meaning. Inspired by Bologna’s Fountain of Neptune, the Trident emblem first appeared on the Tipo 26 when it crossed the finish line at the Targa Florio in 1926. That moment of speed, precision and victory shaped everything Maserati built after it and the same spirit runs through this watch.

Inspired by the MCPURA
The design takes direct inspiration from the Maserati MCPURA, the brand’s latest supercar revealed at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Powered by a 630-hp twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6, the MCPURA is built around a carbon-fibre monocoque and reaches 100 km/h in under 2.9 seconds.
The watch is similarly avant-garde – its birdcage wheel architecture, known for its triple split-spoke design that forms a subtle trident motif, appears again in the open-worked skeleton dial of the UltraFino. The AI Aqua Rainbow finish first seen on the MCPURA also returns as a signature accent along the rubber seam of the watch case, bringing the same sense of dynamism and colour to the wrist.

Inside the Movement
At the centre of the watch is the Bianchet UT01 calibre, made up of 225 components and 29 jewels within a case height of only 9.9mm. Artisans finish every bridge, plate and the tourbillon cage entirely by hand through sandblasting, satin-brushing, polishing and bevelling to make each piece pristine and perfect. Built to withstand shocks up to 5,000G, the movement reflects the same engineering precision seen in the MCPURA itself.

The case combines high-density carbon fibre with vulcanised rubber and weighs only 36 grams without the strap. Owners can choose between two options: an integrated carbon-fibre bracelet or a natural vulcanised rubber strap with a titanium folding clasp. Both choices feel true to the watch’s identity, as if every detail has been designed to feel as considered on the wrist as the car feels on the road. Each of the 100 pieces is individually numbered and produced at Bianchet’s atelier in La Chaux-de-Fonds. For those with a penchant for high speed and ultra-luxe sensibilities, there’s no better ode to the open road.
The watch will be sold in the official Bianchet flagship store and from its distributors. For more information, visit bianchet.com.
