SALAM at Tashkeel (March 13 to April 13)

Tashkeel’s group exhibition looks at contemporary Arabic typography and calligraphy with a modern, design-led eye, moving between crisp typographic experiments and more expressive, hand-driven works. It is the kind of show that makes you slow down without asking for effort; you start noticing spacing, weight, the shape of a single letter, and how quickly it can shift the mood of a whole piece. SALAM opened at 9pm on March 13 and runs until April 13 at Tashkeel in Nad Al Sheba 1, with daily visiting hours from 8am to 11pm, so you can drop in first thing or keep it as a late, calm evening plan.
