Electric Dreams: Luxury Meets Sustainability In The Mercedes-Benz Electric EQS SUV

The German car manufacturer’s latest launch is a perfect blend of style, quality, and sustainability – ideal for KSA drivers, on the hunt for a new vehicle

Mercedes-Benz marches on towards its Ambition 2039 with the introduction of the jaw-dropping EQS SUV. By the year 2039, the German car manufacturer aims to make its entire fleet of new vehicles net carbon-neutral, from technical development to the extraction of raw materials, to production, service life and recycling. And with the luxurious, spacious and impressively aerodynamic EQS SUV — available now in KSA, exclusively at Juffali Automotive — Mercedes-Benz proves that sustainability can also look stunning.

Taking pride in its long-term partnership with the German car manufacturer, Juffali Automotive is the exclusive dealership for Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In terms of technology, the futuristic-looking EQS SUV is packed with features to enhance the driving experience. Navigation with Electric Intelligence, for example, plans the fastest and most convenient route, reacts dynamically to traffic jams or a change in driving style, and also informs the driver of charging stations – it’ll even calculate the cost per charging stop.

Dominating the cockpit is the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) Hyperscreen with its curved 31.2cm OLED display that stretches across the dashboard. Two more screens measuring 29.5cm keep rear passengers entertained. Cleverly, if the camera detects that the driver is looking at the passenger display, the system automatically dims this content. Music lovers will enjoy the Dolby Atmos audio system that pumps sound around the car for a truly immersive aural experience.

Once inside the luxurious lounge-like cabin of the EQS SUV, you’ll sit – and breathe – comfortably thanks to the Energising Air Control Plus system that employs a HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter to prevent microparticles, pollen and other substances entering the car with the outside air.

With room for seven people and four golf bags in the back, the EQS SUV provides plenty of space for passengers to stretch out. All models have an electric drive train (eATS) on the rear axle, while the vehicles with 4MATIC also have an eATS on the front axle. Models equipped with 4MATIC all-wheel drive can handle light terrain as well as urban cruising, while the Airmatic air suspension ensures you won’t feel a bump along the journey. As Mercedes-Benz continues to lead the way in electric mobility, the EQS SUV is a significant and stylish milestone in its ambitious eco pledge.
