The official Instagram account of Miss World has posted an image this evening, announcing the beauty pageant’s location for 2023 and quoting Julia Morley CBE – Chairman of Miss World Limited: “I am delighted to announce the 71st Miss World Festival will be held in…” In the picture, last year’s winner Karolina Bielawska shines in front of a background which is a collage of the famous skylines of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The current Miss World, Karolina, is a Polish model, television presenter, and management graduate. She won the title at the 70th edition of the beauty pageant which was held in San Juan, Costa Rica on March 16th, 2022. Shree Saini from the United States was her first runner-up and Olivia Yacé from the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire the second. The finale was scheduled for 2021 originally but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
When Is Miss World Coming To The UAE?
While no concrete details have been revealed yet, the competition is sure to be a success being held in the glamourous United Arab Emirates, uniting the most beautiful women in the world.
