Montblanc Celebrates 50 Years of Emirati Excellence With A Short Film

“In My Time” highlights important memories, moments and aspirations from a few of the nation’s most formidable changemakers

With National Day fast approaching, UAE citizens and residences are gearing up for what could be one of the biggest celebrations of Emirati excellence and perseverance.

German luxury brand Montblanc is celebrating this special occasional by tapping a few of the country’s most admirable individuals to share their own respective moments in a short film. Working across a variety of sectors, six men and women reveal why they’re proud to be Emirati as they look back on what the nation has achieve in 50 years and its aspirations for the future of the country within “In My Time,” which coincides with launch of Montblanc’s UAE Limited Edition Star Legacy Orbis Terrarum LE71 timepiece.

Aida Al Busaidy, a communications strategist for a UAE government entity; Shurooq Zainal, the first female Emirati legal director for a global private sector company; Salah Tahlak, Executive Vice-President of Dubai Duty Free; Talib Hashim, founder of TBH Consultancy, a leading human resources company focused on Emiratisation; Mohammad Al Falasi, a passionate marine conservationist and co-founder of the Naw organisation of Emirati free divers; and Eman Al Suwaidi, the first Emirati female paramedic and rescue diver, all take part in the short film.
