How Moonglaze’s Yara Alnamlah Is Shaking Up The Saudi Cosmetics Scene

Yara Alnamlah is determined to disrupt the Saudi make-up market

For Yara Alnamlah, a single product was never the goal. At just 26, the Riyadh-based entrepreneur is architecting an entire lifestyle, one thoughtful brand at a time. As the Founder and Chairman of When Minds Meet, she is building a curated ecosystem for the modern Saudi woman, moving far beyond the role of a traditional business owner. Her make-up line, Moonglaze, is the luminous final piece that completes her holistic vision.
“When Minds Meet isn’t just a company, it’s a universe,” Yara tells Bazaar Arabia. “Every venture under it, from Treat to SoMatcha to Moonglaze, reflects a piece of the lifestyle I’ve always wanted to create.”

This universe is carefully designed around the rhythm of a woman who is, in her words, “grounded in her values, yet global in her vision.” Self-care sanctuary Treat – a salon that was three years in the making – celebrates her personal rituals, while SoMatcha Café offers her a mindful pause in a fast-paced life. “Together, they form a lifestyle that feels curated for the Saudi woman of today and tomorrow,” she says.

The launch of Moonglaze was a pivotal evolution in Yara’s journey, given that a dewy aesthetic was what she became known for on social media. It was time to give her followers the tools – highlighter sticks, blushes, and bronzers – to emulate that look. She says, “It was essential because it completes the ecosystem. After creating spaces and rituals, I wanted to create the glow that reflects all of it – the outer expression of inner care. There was a moment where I realised that recommending brands wasn’t enough anymore. I wanted to build worlds, not just showcase them. As a content creator, I was helping shape taste but as a founder, I get to shape experience.”

For Yara, Moonglaze is not an endpoint, but a new beginning. “The next chapter is about expanding what Saudi beauty means – clean, elevated, rooted in care, yet full of identity and warmth,” she says. Her ambition is to redefine the perception of beauty from her region on a global scale. “I want to see Saudi beauty on the global map, not as a trend, but as a movement – thoughtful, soulful, and design-led. The future is about more storytelling through product, collaborations that celebrate culture, and creating icons that speak the language of modern Arab beauty.” Yara Alnamlah started by building a bright universe for the modern Saudi woman; now, she’s sharing its light with the world.
