The new release will feature an array of iconic, talented stars like award-winning Lebanese director and actor Nadine Labaki, Egyptian star Mona Zaki, Eyad Nassar, Georges Khabbaz, Adel Karam, Fouad Yammine, and Diamand Bou Abboud. This new adaptation is directed by Wissam Smayra, who will be making his debut as a film director with this new release.

The storyline is based around seven close friends that come together for dinner and play a game that involves placing their cell phones on the table and sharing all calls, texts, voice messages, and alerts with everyone present as it comes. A perfect combination of comedy and suspense all in one film.

According to Variety, the original film “Perfect Strangers” grossed over $270 million globally, leading to remakes in several countries like France, Germany, Spain, Greece, and South Korea, making this one of the most popular films ever released. And with this new Arabic adaption, we can’t wait to see the new plot.

The highly-anticipated Netflix film is set to release on January 20, 2022 in 190 countries, making all fans (including us) thrilled with the good news.
