New Balance Returns With A Chic Capsule For Its Annual Grey Days Celebration

A month-long celebration of New Balance’s iconic grey, blending heritage design with community experiences rooted in sport, culture and wellness

Every May, New Balance does something the rest of the industry rarely manages. It makes grey feel like the most exciting colour in the room. Grey Days is back for 2026, and with it comes a capsule collection that reminds you exactly why this shade has been at the heart of the brand since the 1980s.

Grey was never a default for New Balance. When it first entered the brand’s design language, it was a deliberate choice, a way to blend into the city rather than compete with it. While every other brand was reaching for neon and bright white, New Balance went in the opposite direction and built something that has lasted decades. That quiet confidence is what Grey Days celebrates every year, and this season the capsule delivers it beautifully. From styles with a soft blush pink detail to chunkier silhouettes with more presence, each piece moves easily between a workout and a full day out without missing a step.

In the UAE, Grey Days takes on a life of its own at Alserkal Avenue, one of Dubai’s most genuinely creative neighbourhoods. For 10 days from May 1, the celebration spreads across some of the Avenue’s most loved spaces, each one bringing something different to the experience.

The floral gallery UrArtU is one of the highlights, hosting bespoke workshops across the weekends where movement, design and nature come together in the most unexpected and beautiful way.

Meanwhile, The Workshop DXB offers custom screen printing sessions where guests can leave with something personal and entirely their own, Nightjar Coffee Roasters adds a more relaxed social dimension with a branded space and exclusive Grey Days coffee bags, and CRANK rounds out the programme with a series of curated SHAPE takeover classes throughout the experience.

Beyond Dubai, the Grey Run takes the celebration into Saudi Arabia and Qatar, open to every level and built entirely around New Balance’s Run Your Way ethos. No pressure, no pace requirement. Just movement on your own terms.
