OMNIYAT Celebrates Its 20-Year Milestone at the Lana, Dorchester Collection
The luxury real estate icon highlighted two decades of success at the event
You can barely make it through a day in Dubai without spotting an OMNIYAT building. From waterfront silhouettes to sculptural urban landmarks, the developer has left an indelible mark on the city.
To celebrate two decades of crafting that imprint, OMNIYAT transformed The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, into a carefully staged, multi-sensory experience on January 15. It unfolded as a journey, inviting guests to move through the property and encounter different moods, flavours, and performances along the way.

The event drew on The Lana’s diverse spaces, including award-winning restaurants like Riviera by Jean Imbert and Jara by Martín Berasategui, as well as the rooftop High Society lounge, known for its sweeping views across the Burj Khalifa District.
The night began in the ballroom, where guests were welcomed before being guided upwards through the hotel. The celebrations progressed with live entertainment and pass-around canapés, with each venue adopting various aesthetics, from luxurious Dolce Vita to smoky jazz.
The city’s iconic skyline itself served as the backdrop for the event’s final act at High Society. A headline stage performance and live DJ set the tone before guests were treated to a choreographed drone display.
Since its founding in 2005, OMNIYAT has positioned itself as more than a traditional real estate developer. Its ultra-luxury projects often sit at the intersection of architecture, art, and lifestyle, shaped through collaborations with world-famous designers and hospitality brands, from Zaha Hadid to Foster + Partners.
With 20 years of success fuelling its drive, the brand is charging into the next decade with its most significant projects yet; this birthday party was just the cherry on top.
