Rihanna once again stole the show at the Met Gala 2025 — arriving fashionably late but with a dramatic drop-the-mic moment. The singer debuted her baby bump, revealing her third pregnancy with long-time partner, Rapper A$AP Rocky.
The pop icon was the last to arrive, strategically stepping onto the blue carpet after most A-listers had cleared the venue’s iconic staircase, ensuring all eyes were on her. Dressed in a striking custom Marc Jacobs ensemble—a boned corseted bodice, cropped suit jacket, floor length pin-stripe skirt and silk polka dot flourishes—the singer once more proved that pregnancy wouldn’t hamper her avant-garde sense of style.
Known for turning red carpet appearances into viral moments, Rihanna’s latest pregnancy was announced in a similar fashion to those of her previous pregnancy— the singer unveiled her second pregnancy at the unforgettable 2023 Super Bowl performance, while her first pregnancy was revealed in a Harlem photoshoot where she wore a hot pink coat over her bare baby bump, decadently bedecked in jewels.
After Rihanna’s solo walk, congratulations poured in from fans around the world and other celebs present at the event. Expectant father and co-chair, AS$P Rocky beamed with joy, “We were tired of holding that, and it was time to show the people what we was cooking up. I’m glad everybody’s happy for us, because we’re definitely happy.”
