If You Appreciate Gourmet Dining and Fusion Flavours, Salvaje Dubai Is a Must-Try
The popular Downtown destination began as an idea in Panama City, and now spans multiple locations, from Madrid to Miami
When it comes to restaurants, some are perfect for just a fun night out, where the plates aren’t the main pull. Others, however, earn their go-to status from the exceptional quality of the food alone, with factors like the ambience and entertainment being welcome additions. Salvaje Dubai is one of those cuisine-first venues, and it’s celebrating its second anniversary in the city with a new à la carte menu.
Located at the Address Residences Dubai Opera, a stone’s throw away from the Burj Khalifa, the tropical-themed spot marries vibrant Latin American flavours with Japanese techniques. Each dish is made with precision and a deep respect for the ingredients, as seen in both cultures.

Executive Chef Koyi Tanabe’s expertise, shaped by his Peruvian-Japanese roots, is evident throughout the celebratory selection, from ceviche and sushi platters to robata-grilled steak.
When it comes to the ambience, softly lit interiors cast a warm glow, while the stunning terrace offers an equally inviting atmosphere to enjoy the cooler months. The skyline-facing setting works just as well for a late dinner for two as it does for group gatherings. Meanwhile, a weekly curation of live band performances adds a subtle sense of energy to the space.
Salvaje has a wide global network, with bustling locations across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and South America. Its Dubai home, two years in, has carved out a reputation for itself as a tried-and-true destination in the city, which is no small feat, considering the tough competition.
