Spartan Race Middle East Announces Its ‘Dusk ‘Til Dawn’ Event At The Arena, Bab Al Shams
Are you ready for the ultimate challenge in obstacle course racing?
Spartan Race Middle East has officially announced The Arena, Bab Al Shams as the venue for its upcoming event, ‘Dawn ‘til Dusk’, taking place on Saturday April 19. Following the success of its first Trifecta weekend at Dubai Parks and Resorts, the new event promises an even more thrilling experience. The race will feature multiple formats, including a 5km sprint, a 10km super, and children’s races ranging from 1km to 3km, offering fun for all ages and skill levels.
Participants will take on a series of high-energy obstacles, setting off from a dramatic Colosseum-inspired arena before navigating the rugged desert terrain. The event’s unique format will see racers competing in waves from dawn to dusk, creating an endurance challenge unlike any other. Spectators can enjoy a full-day experience with entertainment, recovery zones, and a diverse selection of food and drinks options from top regional caterers.

With obstacle course racing gaining in global popularity – the modern pentathlon will in fact be a category in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics – Spartan Race continues to lead the way in pioneering and popularising the sport. The inaugural event saw over 4,000 competitors and 2,000 spectators, with sponsorship from major brands and activations at key sporting events.
