The Ambanis Have Flown To London, But Where Will They Honeymoon?
The Ambani wedding may be over, but the celebrations haven’t quite stopped yet…
It’s fair to say that the Ambani wedding set a new standard where extravagant weddings are concerned, with the final bill estimated to be somewhere around the $600 million dollar mark. From the pre-wedding festivities that took place over the last few months, with performances from the likes of Rihanna, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber, to the extraordinary fashion and fine jewellery worn by the bridal party for the wedding itself, the show of wealth was simply staggering.
Yesterday, Anant and Radhika Ambani were seen at Kalina airport, destined for London, where it is rumoured that they will hold a post-wedding celebration at their stately home, Stoke Park.
Although an official invitation and guestlist haven’t been released yet, we perhaps should expect to see some of the rumoured guests for the Mumbai celebration who didn’t attend – Victoria and David Beckham were notably absent, while rumours of performances by British artists including Adele, Drake and Lana Del Ray never materialised.
While we expect the Ambanis to host some sort of post-wedding ceremony at Stoke Park this week, we also expect to see them jetting off on honeymoon shortly after. As yet, they haven’t revealed where they will go to relax and unwind after such gargantuan nuptials, but there are a few ultra-luxurious destinations that come to mind – perhaps one of the most romantic hotels in the world, although we suspect that the Ambanis may be seeking out somewhere more remote after celebrating so publicly on the world stage.
