
The BAFTA Nominations 2025 Are Announced
The list of nominees for the upcoming BAFTA awards have been announced, with stars of Wicked, A Complete Unknown and Heretic expected to take home the iconic theatrical trophy
The BAFTA Awards, one of the most prestigious award ceremonies for film and television, is set to take place on February 16, 2025, at the Royal Festival Hall in London, hosted by award-winning actor David Tennant. From an impressive pool of 235 entries, 42 exceptional films have received nominations, with Conclave leading the way with 12 nods, followed by Emilia Pérez with 11, and The Brutalist with 9 nominations to its name. Among the most highly anticipated categories are the Best Actor and Best Actress awards, featuring nominees such as Demi Moore, Timothée Chalamet, and Hugh Grant, recognised for their outstanding recent performances in The Substance, A Complete Unknown, and Heretic.
