Let The Delano Dubai Whisk You Away For Some Miami-Style Magic
Constantly reinventing ‘cool’, Miami’s iconic Delano has put up a hedge in Dubai
Hidden away on the shores of Bluewaters Dubai between the ever-awake city’s skyline and the Arabian Gulf, Delano Dubai is reimagining the signature sister Miami property that captured a global eye and rewrote the rules of hospitality three decades ago. The rooms and suites follow a classic understated style; leading designers Elastic Architects, SA Consultants, La Bottega Interiors and YDesign, in collaboration with Ennismore’s in-house design team envisioned the interiors, applying the aesthetic principles that made the original Miami hotel such a hot topic.

The entrance, framed by manicured greenery recalls South Beach’s edgy hedge, and a veil of white curtains – which will be quite familiar to guests of the Miami property – lures guests inside. In the lobby, Lahore-based artist Hussain Jamil’s reflective artwork depicts movement and fluidity, while the interaction between dark and light comes alive through architectural lighting and the bright Delano-white walls. Dimly lit corridors welcome guests into the suites, bathed in an abundance of natural sunlight.

The design of the rooms embraces fluidity in curved silhouettes and vibrant textures; bespoke wool rugs, bouclé sofas and chairs, white oak flooring and oversized headboards define the chic theme. Delano’s famous proverb ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’ is honoured through the rotating treats presented in an artistically crafted apple-shaped bowl. Immerse in the surrounding nature with the secluded balcony in each room, overlooking the resort’s tree-dotted gardens or the glistening waters of the Gulf. The best of Arabian hospitality married with Miami’s dynamic spirit makes a stay at the Delano Dubai truly unforgettable.
