The Dubai International Boat Show, celebrating its 28th year this year, has become one of the most highly anticipated and important events within the international luxury yachting community. st is one of the world’s most active leisure maritime hubs, accounting for 12.6% of superyacht owners globally. Dubai in particular, has carved a place for itself on the world stage as being one of the top ten luxury marine capitals.
Although the event had to be cancelled for the past two years due to Covid, the pandemic has hardly slowed the industry down. As Trixie LohMirman, Executive Vice President of Events Management at DWTC states, “The challenges of the last two years have sparked a desire for a more outdoor, spatial lifestyle, which in turn promises new growth opportunities for the industry. The leisure marine industry has continue to thrive in this period.”
