Miss Denmark Victoria Kjaer Theilvig took home the Miss Universe 2024 crown, beating out 124 contestants from around the world for the title. The former pro dancer and entrepreneur appeared to be in shock when it was announced she would be the next Miss Universe.
Dressed in a pink glittering gown the 21-year-old from Søborg was crowned by Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua, in Mexico City; the glittering tiara, designed by Jewelmer, sparkling in the bright lights as she graciously accepted the title and waved to the crowd.

She’s from Søborg, Denmark.
Victoria grew up in Søborg and was a former pro dancer before making her foray into the world of pageants. According to sources, she reportedly studied business and marketing at Lyngby Handelsgymnasium in Kongens Lyngby, before working in diamond sales.
She was crowned Miss Denmark back in September 2024.
Victoria has only held the title of Miss Denmark for a few months now, having been crowned just in September 2024 though she has been competing in pageants for a few years. Victoria was 2nd runner-up at Miss Denmark in 2021 and was appointed Miss Grand Denmark in 2022.
She made history today at Miss Universe 2024, becoming the first contestant from Denmark to win the pageant.
She’s an animal protection advocate.
Being an advocate for animal rights is something Victoria is extremely passionate about.
