According to the National Center of Meteorology, two earthquakes were recorded in Iran

A 5.5-magnitude Earthquake was recorded in southern Iran, as reported by the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) this morning at 8:59am. According to the UAE’s Official Weather Instagram announcement, the natural disaster had no damaging effects on the UAE.

A second Earthquake was recorded shortly after at 9:10am, with a magnitude of 6.0. As reported by the NCM, the natural disaster had no damaging effects on the UAE.

Earlier this year in March 2023, a 1.9 Magnitude Earthquake occurred on the Coast of Dibba Al Fujairah in the evening around 8 pm, according to the NCM. The natural disaster had no damaging effects on the UAE and had a depth of 17km across the gulf.
