What To Do In Dubai: 3 Designer Pop-Ups To Visit This Week | Feb 21 – 27

From Chanel to Prada we share a few of our favourite pop-ups from around town, the ones that any self-respecting fashionista wouldn’t miss out on…

Here at Bazaar Arabia we love a good pop-up – and lucky for us, the region is quickly becoming the epicenter of Instagrammable shopping moments, with spaces being transformed into temporary experiential boutiques, filled with delights from our favourite luxury brands.

Here, we share a few of our favourite pop-ups from around town, the ones that any self-respecting fashionista wouldn’t miss out on…

Louis Vuitton Pop-Up (Dubai): SEE LV

Located at the Dubai Fountain or, rather, floating on the Dubai Fountain is an immersive Louis Vuitton exhibition, titled SEE LV. The exhibition comes to Dubai from China, where it was first presented in Wuhan in 2020 and then Hangzhou in 2021.

The exhibition – which is guided by a hospitable, and importantly, knowledgeable group of docents – takes guests on a journey through the revolutionary heritage of the brand. Everything for which the house is known for today is on display – from its iconic ready-to-wear designs to its slew of It handbags, and pieces from its groundbreaking collaborations (think Supreme X Louis Vuitton). A historic travel trunk from 1906 stands as a nostalgic reminder of Mr. Vuitton’s beginnings two centuries ago, as one of the most innovative luggage designers of his time. On now until March 7, the exhibit is free to all visitors – and there is even a gift shop selling some of the most coveted LV pieces at the end of the experience.

Location: The Dubai Mall Fountain, Downtown Dubai

When: February 4 – March 7 (Monday – Sunday, 10:00-00:00)

Prada Pop-Up (Dubai): PRADA TROPICO

As part of their exclusive pop-up store series, Prada Tropico invites guests into a Prada-branded tropical forest. Their coveted bucket hat has been re-invented in an array of materials and colours from raffia, crystal-studded satin, and nylon. The hats look like foliage hanging off a tree, dominating the center of the space. Step into Prada’s playful paradise and discover their it-pieces including hobo bags and sandals, all available in a rainbow of new seasonal colours.

Location: The Dubai Mall

When: On now until March 6 (Monday – Thursday, 10:00-23:00, Friday – Sunday, 10:00 – 00:00)

Chanel Pop-Up (Dubai): N°1 DE CHANEL GARDEN

In celebration of the launch of their new skincare and make-up line, N°1 DE CHANEL, the French fashion house has unveiled a pop-up in Burj Park in Downtown Dubai.

The red structure, meant to resemble a greenhouse, welcomes clients to experience Chanel’s holistic approach to beauty. Clients are invited to test the products while being treated to a private skincare consultation with a beauty expert. In addition, guests are invited to partake in two artistic workshops, both led by professional artists, as well as an outdoor meditation session. Every aspect of this pop-up, from the activities down to the selection of fresh juices on offer, has been carefully curated by the brand to champion the importance of mindfulness and self-care in everyday life.

Where: Burj Park, Downtown Dubai

When: February 18 – 27 (Monday – Friday: 10:00-22:00; Saturday – Sunday: 10:00-00:00)
