The pair became husband and wife on February 22, 2022 (a unique date suggested by Mona’s feng shui consultant, renowned to be lucky) and were photographed for Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Bride’s Spring / Summer 20233 issue, sharing exclusive insight into their love story.

The entrepreneur and co-founder of Huda Beauty and Kayali announced her engagement via Instagram to long-term boyfriend Hassan Elamin back in 2021.
“On the night of the proposal, he was being so funny and goofy. He wanted us to have an al fresco dinner, and then he wanted us to dance. While we were slow-dancing, he got down on one knee and it completely threw me off,” Mona told Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Bride. “The proposal was very romantic, which is exactly what I love.”
“Forever Ever @hassanelamin,” Mona wrote within the caption of a carousel post when she announced her engagement, which included snaps of her showing off the ring, posing with friends and family and looking very much in love with the Dubai-based businessman.

Hassan Elamin Attended Bayes Business School (Formerly Cass Business School)
According to his LinkedIn profile, Hassan is a graduate of Bayes Business School (formerly known as Cass) in London, U.K., graduating with a Master of Science degree in MS, Insurance and Risk Management.
He currently works as a Head of Facultative for Aon Reinsurance Solutions (Middle East, Africa, and Turkey).
He’s A Luxury Watch Enthusiast
Hassan clearly appreciates the craftsmanship of quality timepieces and has an extensive watch collection – which includes a Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167/300G-010 and Audemars Piguet Double Balance Wheel, both in white gold.

From the shores of Lake Como in Italy to Knightsbridge in London, Hassan is a bona fide globetrotter and certainly doesn’t shy away from sharing his adventures traveling within his Instagram feed.
He’s Very Close With His Family
In addition to sharing sweet photos of himself with Mona and travels, Hassan frequently posts snaps with his brother, Ahmad, and sister, Sally within his feed – and the trio appear to be very close. The three siblings also have plans to soon launch their own clothing line, appropriately named Elamins (@the.elamins).
According to her Instagram account, Sally – who has a background in graphic design – works in branding.
Hassan and Mona were dating for at least six months before getting engaged.
While it’s unclear when the pair first started dating, Hassan first posted a picture of Mona within his Instagram feed earlier this spring. The couple looked very cozy together while on a night out in Dubai.
Since then, the couple has shared multiple photos and posts together on Instagram, confirming to their followers that they’re very much an item and in love.
