Another chapter is finished within Moschino’s storied history as its creative director, Jeremy Scott, steps down after ten years at the Italian fashion house.
News broke on Monday evening that he would no longer be at the helm of the fashion house. The American designer had been at its helm for a decade, having unveiled his first collection for the Autumn/Winter 2014 season.
The creative mastermind behind the brand’s collaboration with Barbie, he was known for his playful, tongue-in-cheek inspired collections drawing on inspiration from cartoons and satire.
A statement was shared on the house’s official Instagram page, in the form of an IG Story.
Jeremy also shares a statement across his account.
“After 10 years I am announcing today that I will be leaving Moschino,” the designer wrote in an Instagram caption. “Ive had a blast creating designs that will live on forever. I am grateful for all the love and support I’ve received over this past decade as I close this chapter I am filled with excitement & anticipation and cant wait to share with you all what I have in store for you next!”
