Will It Rain in Jeddah This Weekend?
According to weather.com the early hours of Friday morning may see some very stormy weather, complete with thunder and lightning. While no official advisory or closures of schools and public spaces have been announced by the government, residents should still be prepared for wet conditions.
Last month storms in Jeddah brought the city to a halt as residents shared clips of washed-out roads across social media; all schools – public, private and international – in Jeddah, Rabigh, and Khulais were closed. King Abdulaziz International Airport saw its fair share of the storm’s rainfall, as flights were delayed.
On November 24th, residents took to Twitter and Instagram to share images and video clips of flooding and roadside conditions in Jeddah…
