In a sudden move that sent shockwaves throughout the fashion and entertainment world, Law Roach, stylist to stars Zendaya, Bella Hadid, Priyanka Chopra, Celine Dion, and more, announced his retirement from fashion.
The 44-year-old American designer is responsible for some of the best red carpet moments the world has witnessed in recent times, including Zendaya’s 2023 NAACP Awards appearance where she turned heads in a vintage Versace couture gown and Megan Thee Stallion’s return to the spotlight at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars after party.
In a now-viral clip from the Louis Vuitton A/W 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week that was widely shared on social media, Law appeared peeved when he was asked to take a seat behind Zendaya who was sat first row with Emma Stone. While we can’t say for sure if this incident was the last straw for Law, fuelled by his unpleasant experiences in the industry, everyone was curious to know if it that could have led to the stylist’s untimely retirement.

In a series of tweets posted a few hours ago, Law suggested that he remains friends with Zendaya and it seems like he isn’t ready to say goodbye to their collaborations yet.

He put a stop to any unfounded speculations that the 26-year-old actor was responsible for his recent announcement by talking about the special bond between the two. For context, Law Roach has been working with Zendaya since she made her debut in the Disney Channel show Shake It Up at the young age of 14.
