If you’re big on running, you’ll know that one of the most hotly anticipated trainer of the year is set to launch soon. The Nike Epic React Flyknit, which is made using a special type of foam, will hit shelves on February 22.
The brand recently collaborated with Emirati influencer Mthayel Al Ali for a colourful street style shoot in London.
“The Nike React is perfect for the girl on the go,” said Al Ali, explaining why she collaborated with the brand on this project. “It’s so comfortable yet stylish. I run twice a week to stay healthy between my yoga and Pilates classes and running in these shoes makes me feel like I’m on air. They’re the softest, lightest and most resilient shoes that Nike have ever delivered!”
If you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, ‘Nike React’ is a single piece of foam that provides a cushioning platform for runners. In the development process it has undergone 17,000 miles of testing.
In comparison to the brand’s predecessor, the Nike Lunar foam, which was used in the Nike LunarEpic Flynit 2 trainer, this new running shoe is said to be five per cent lighter, 11 per cent softer and provides 10 per cent more energy.
Nike Epic React launches on February 22 and is priced at Dhs735
