#HouseOfBazaar: Day One

We’re officially open at Mall of the Emirates

The second edition of House of Bazaar is officially in full swing at Mall of the Emirates. We opened the House yesterday, and over one hundred of the region’s most influential media, PRs and personalities joined us for the opening.

Guests were welcomed in The Garden with canapes and refreshments from Dalloyau, before beginning their tours of the house. They first entered The Wellness Room where Bazaar‘s digital and features editor Maddison Glendinning and food editor Dalia Dogmoch Soubra talked them through all things haute and healthy, as they snacked on Dalia’s decadent paleo energy truffles with a raspberry tea leaf, mint, ginger and turmeric ice tea. 

From here, they ventured into The Closet where Rosemin Manji and Bazaar‘s fashion & beauty director Katie Trotter walked them through their edit of the season’s best trends and the must-have pieces from Harvey Nichols – Dubai and many others.

From here, guests made their way into The Boudoir, where Toni Malt, makeup artist for CHANEL was doing live make-up demonstrations and answering beauty questions. 

Lastly, guests stopped in The Gallery where the artist Amir H. Fallah has set up studio for the week with Bazaar Art‘s editor-in-chief Rebecca Proctor. 

We’ll be in the mall all week, until October 15 with a range of celebrity Q&As, fashion shows and presentations.
