The architect’s iconic product designs are now exhibited in New York

Design aficionados can view the Zaha Hadid Design collection of furniture at Leila Heller Gallery New York. The exhibition showcases Hadid’s selection of architecturally-inspired homeware – manifesting an overview of Hadid’s pioneering use of technology and material innovations across a display of multi-faceted design.

The exhibition chronicles the late architect’s distinguished design collection, presenting the evolution of her early semi-tectonic period into her later semi-liquid phase. Among the notable highlights include the high glossed fibreglass Seoul Desk; the sustainably-sourced American walnut Volu Dining Furniture which incorporates typological, functional and ergonomic elements; the convoluted pleats of the Visio Vase and the fluid formations of the Liquid Glacial furniture collection.

The architect’s legacy continues at Leila Heller Gallery New York with her influential oeuvre of product design.

Zaha Hadid at Leila Heller Gallery New York is on view until January 21, 2017
