Situated in Dubai’s beautiful Souk Madinat, French restaurant Publique has revamped its original Alpine Brunch into a nightly summer brunch for three hours of non-stop delicious food (you can let your instructor know how fast or slow you wish to be served).

With rustic furnishings and a traditional wooden bar, the space is reminiscent of a cabin atop the mountains in France. The wood-brown cosy interiors, traditional DJ booth and coloured lights create a chilled-yet-lively ambience for the perfect dining destination to unwind any day of the week.

The eatery was founded by restauranteurs Jonathan Vercoutere and Julien Pilard. “There is a big market for French food, however, it is a very complicated one and we want to change perception of that,” says Vercoutere.

Pilard adds, “We switched and adapted our French offerings and made it accessible for everybody, we introduced what we love such as the frog legs, the snails the Foie Gras and we made it universal."

In addition to the delectable meals such as French-style Pani Puris (cheese-filled unleavened deep-fried bread), a chicken and salad platter and a mountain of melting cheese, diners can enjoy al fresco views of the Arabian Gulf and the souk.

For dessert, the chocolate fondue served with strawberries, marshmallows and bananas is the sweetest ending.

The nightly brunch is available from 6pm (12pm on weekends) at Publique, Souk Madinat, Dubai. To book your table, call 04 430 8550
