30 minutes of activity for 30 days, from October 18th to November 16th.
Where is it?
40+ citywide events and 5000+ classes and activities including ‘on-trend’ fitness classes, with wellness events and programmes taking place all across Dubai.
Aside from simply being active for 30 minutes, you also need to track it. There's an app for that!

Shaikh Hamdan has called on the city to be 'In It Together', join with him and take on the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC)
“The Dubai Fitness Challenge is our mission to unify the city in one truly inclusive fitness movement, with a common goal of achieving and maintaining active lifestyles," enthuses the charming Dubai Crown Prince. 2019 marks the 3rd year for the fitness challenge, which has grown significantly year on year, as the Prince goes on to note, "...In each of DFC’s previous editions since its launch, I have been overwhelmed by the incredible participation and enthusiasm of all my fellow residents and I count on all of you even more this year to help us achieve our goal of becoming ‘the most active city’ in the world.”
Some of the DFC’s roster of events include:
- Two ‘Fitness Villages’, one at Dubai Festival City Mall and the other at Kite Beach overlooking the Burj al-Arab.
- 10 community-based Fitness Hubs located at key locations around Dubai.
- Over 40 different events including a world record-breaking HIIT class with Joe Wicks.
and more than 5,000 classes and activities across the city.
All residents and visitors can pledge to join the Challenge by registering on the Dubai Fitness App or the DFC website.
