1) Self Made (2020)
This Netflix miniseries tells the inspiring tale of Madam C.J Walker, America's first female self-made millionaire who founded a hair care line for black women. Academy Award-winning actress Octavia Spencer plays the role of the inspiring African-American entrepreneur who overcame the overwhelming obstacles and prejudices black women faced at the turn-of-the-century to attain astounding success.
2) Franca: Chaos and Creation (2016)
An intimate documentary offering a rare, behind-the scenes glimpse into the life of one of the world’s most prolific Editors; the late Franca Sozzani. Directed by Francesco Carrozini, Franca’s only child, the film sheds light on the everyday demands of working in the world’s most glamourous industry from a personal perspective.
3) The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story (2018)
A riveting series that brings to life the tragic event that shook the fashion world to the core: the brutal assassination of Gianni Versace right outside his Miami Beach mansion in 1992. The true crime anthology series gives us an in-depth look into the events that unfolded in the life of serial killer Andrew Cunanan leading up to murder and offers glimpses into lives of Gianni and Donatella Versace.
4) Next In Fashion (2020)
Hosted by Alexa Chung and Tan France, this reality series features 18 designers who compete with one another for a highly coveted prize which includes $250,000 and the chance to be stocked on Net-a-Porter. Alexa and Tan bring on some of the biggest names in the fashion world in each episode to partake in the judging process including the likes of Prabal Gurung, Monique Lhullier, Tommy Hilfiger and Philip Lim.
5) The Great Gatsby (2013)
Set in the Roaring Twenties, Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby oozes the iconic decade’s irresistible glamour. Styled by Academy Award-winning costume designer Catherine Martin (who also happens to be Luhrmann’s wife), the star-studded blockbuster features 1,200 suits from Brook’s Brothers, 40 dresses designed by Miuccua Prada and a bespoke diamond encrusted headpiece from Tiffany & Co.

9) SATC (2008)
Styled by Patricia Field, the SATC series is revered in the industry for its impeccable fashion.
