There's no winter like a UAE winter. It's the time of year that we all wait for the season to roll around. Not only does that mean that we can finally dust off our knee-high boots, but we can now actually stand outside for more than ten minutes. (If you've ever lived in the UAE you know this isn't even an exaggeration). So, say hello to more outdoor activities in the UAE, especially the fun-filled line-up in Abu Dhabi

BAZAAR has compiled a list for your perusal - take your family, friends, and even include the young ones.

BBQ Friday Brunch at Pacifico Tiki

Nothing says 'better weather' more than a classic BBQ. Why have it at a park or your backyard when Al Bandar Plaza in Al Raha Beach has already prepared one for you? Friday brunches are quite popular amongst Abu Dhabi residents, so Pacifico Tiki's BBQ Friday Brunch is a perfect way to kick off the winter.

Packages start from Dhs155, with a delicious spread including appetisers, salads, desserts and of course, mouth-watering BBQ choices. All ages are permitted for this outing and it's held every Friday

Diwali Night Market

With Diwali celebrations only a few days away, it's time to start thinking about all the places you can visit with your family. Organised by the Department of Community Development, A Diwali Night Market will be held at Capital Park in Abu Dhabi on the 25th and 27th of October.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Indian culture while walking through this Diwali-themed bazaar. From Indian street food to candles and jewellery, this market will be one you don't want to miss.

Flower Market

If you're looking for a refreshing change, this event is just right for you. Abu Dhabi is hosting a Flower Market at Marsa Al Bateen Marina on the 1st of November. Stroll through a plethora of flowers and have your picks from peonies to roses and gardenias; a florists dream. You could buy a loved one some flowers and even try your hand at arranging.

Drive-In Cinema

Who doesn't love an outing to the movies? Absolutely no one. Abu Dhabi residents are always going back and forth between the latest movies that are playing in the cinemas at VOX. But this winter, it's time to change it up.

Hudairyat Island, located in Abu Dhabi, will be hosting a 'Drive-In' cinema where you can just park your car, unbuckle your seatbelt and enjoy the movie. You won't have to worry about food either since Hudairyat is filled with food trucks that serve every cuisine. This event will take place from the 7th to the 8th of November - two movies will be screened each night; one at 8pm and for those night owls, another at midnight.

Constellation Night

Another Hudairyat-hosted outing is a starry night - quite literally. Drive on over to the spacious island where there will be a 'Constellation Night Tent' for visitors to use.

You can look through telescopes and stargaze while discussing astronomy with other astronomy lovers and experts. As if that didn't sound good enough, add a bonfire to the experience to keep warm or just to make s'mores. A one-day only event, this Constellation Night will take place on the 13th of November from 6pm-8pm.

StrEAT Feast

A personal Abu Dhabi favourite. Streat Feast is a yearly event that has been taking place in the capital since 2015. The best of global street food comes to Downtown Abu Dhabi in December on the 6th and 7th, where you can stroll and enjoy an array of food trucks with plenty of options to choose from. We suggest wearing some loose clothes because you'll be having a feast by the end of the night.

Let's not forget the F1 events coming to Abu Dhabi this November as well. There's a lot in store, so start marking these memorable things in your calendars. We'll see you there.
