Regional Celebrities Illuminate Cartier’s Grand Opening in Bodrum’s Coastal Haven

From a larger-than-life inaugural to a private gala dinner, here’s everything that went down at the opening of Cartier’s newest boutique in Bodrum.

Surrounded by Bodrum’s breathtaking seascapes, Cartier’s dazzling new boutique at the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum joins the list of chic spots to explore in the Turkish port city, while marking a significant milestone in the Maison’s global expansion. This serene coastal destination, with its azure waters and verdant landscapes, provides the perfect backdrop for Cartier’s scintillating creations, enticing a discerning clientele comprised of local aficionados and global connoisseurs alike.

The store interior exudes utter harmony between the storied maison and its new seaside setting: from the woven raffia-patterned wallpaper honouring local artisanal crafts, to silky textiles echoing Bodrum’s vibrant flora and marine life. Precious pieces are elegantly displayed in curved showcases that mirror serene waves lapping the shore, where you will find a meticulously curated selection of Cartier’s iconic collections such as Love, Juste un Clou, and Clash de Cartier.

Fine timepieces are equally elegantly presented, with the iconic Panthère de Cartier, Santos de Cartier and Tank collections displayed alongside refined leather accessories and stylish writing instruments.

Inspired by the gentle curves of Bodrum’s coastline and Cartier’s iconic gift wrapping of its stores, the outer façade of the boutique is a testament to the art of layering. This unique location is destined to become an unmissable hot spot on the Bodrum summer experience.

A Star-Studded Affair

To mark this momentous expansion, a guestlist of stylish tastemakers and regional celebrities were invited to explore the maison’s new and exquisite setting.

Yousra

Egyptian star and singer Yousra was draped in a resplendent red gown by Marchesa, complete with elegantly flowing cape, and was adorned by a gleaming gold Cartier necklace that suited the splendour of the evening.

Tara Emad

Tara Emad, the celebrated Egyptian actress and Cartier ambassador wore a cream crochet maxi dress by Polish brand Magda Butrym, paired with a Panthère de Cartier pendant.

Anas Bukhash

Anas Bukhash, the visionary Emirati entrepreneur and founder of Bukhash Brothers Co. was dressed in an effortlessly chic ensemble, blending beige tailoring with a classic white T-shirt.

Saba Mubarak

Saba Mubarak, the acclaimed Jordanian actress and producer, opted for a flowing blue gown by a UAE-based fashion brand Kristina Fidelskaya, paired with understated yet elevated drop earrings.

Eda Gürkaynak, founder of Istanbul-based brand Original Seconds turned heads in a radiant red maxi dress by Dice Kayek, paired flawlessly with a gleaming gold Cartier watch.

Boran Kuzum

Turkish actor Boran Kuzum wore a vintage co-ord shirt and shorts set ruffled half-sleeved jacket, with a simple chain and steel timepiece to add silver accents.
