The Maxx Royal Bodrum Partners With Mykonos’ Beach Club Scorpios
The Maxx Royal Bodrum is pulling out all the stops this summ with clever partnerships, creative cuisine, ample amenities and the most impressive wellness offering on the peninsula
It’s hardly a surprise that renowned Mykonos beach club Scorpios chose Bodrum as the destination of choice for its second outpost. It’s even less surprising that the luxe creative concept cherry-picked the leading hotel empire Maxx Royal as its host – more specifically, the Maxx Royal Bodrum which, having only recently opened its doors in May, is already proving to be the hottest address in town.
The brand’s latest offering has one key difference – rather than all-inclusive experience like its stylish siblings, this property is bed and breakfast, with gastronomes spoiled for choice. In fact, there’s an impressive eight high-end restaurants, with some of the biggest names in the business setting up shop to shine a light on the region’s abundance of fresh local produce.

Case in point? Spago by Wolfgang Puck, the man who has catered the Oscars for 30 years, is serving up farm-totable dishes at his waterside eatery, while Italian Oro by Alfredo Russo comes guided by the award-winning chef.
Elsewhere Caviar Kaspia makes for opulent dining, Twenty4 specialises in Turkish treats and Joey Ghazal’s The Maine looks set to be one of the biggest crowd pleasers of all. Culinary boutiques focused on fine chocolates, pastries and ice-cream are also in the mix, as are eight bars overseen by master mixologist Shavinraj Gopinath.
All accommodation is seriously special, with private one and two-bedroom suites plus larger villas all devised by Turkish architect Mahmut Anlar and graced with interiors by Turkish studio Geo ID, while expert art advisor Zeynep Utku has curate the property’s inaugural collection.
Whichever space you choose to call home during your stay, you can expect divine sea views, but opt for a top-floor position for the most perfect panoramas. Villas come with huge terraces, five-star amenities like fragrance and pillow menus and shared infinity pool but why not push the boat out and book the 1,064sqm Presidential Villa? With five bedrooms, heated seawater pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi and fitness centre, it’s perfect for a luxurious family break.

Little ones run free at the Maxxi Land children’s club – the largest of its kind in Bodrum – expect everything from dance classes and craft sessions to movie theatre, party room and video game stations.
Aware that today’s travellers are seeking more profound wellness experiences, the hotel has upped the ante when it comes to health and fitness. Its flagship 4,500sqm Maxx WellBeing Centre is a holistic haven with 20 treatment rooms, thermal experiences, Ozone therapy space, state-of-the-art gym, Olympic-sized swimming pool and more. Guests can indulge in a soul-soothing menu of luxury spa rituals including a much-revered Turkish bath treatment comprising scrub, Hammam and massage, while visiting practitioners host medicalmeets- holistic retreats as part of the Maxx Royal Seven Elements of Wellbeing programs.
Venture out for a myriad of cultural experiences on your doorstep including the Ephesus and Hierapolis Ancient Cities, Sirince Village and Pamukkale Travertines. You also have the nightlife of Bodrum Town just a 30-minute drive south, plus the designer stores of Yalıkavak Marina to the west. That said, the allure of Maxx Royal Bodrum’s cuisine, wellness offerings and five-star amenities might just make leaving the grounds the toughest decision of your stay.
