Lily James has replaced her dirty-blonde locks with a shorter, geometric brunette cut, just in time for autumn.
The actress has yet to step out publicly with her new look - or share it on social media herself - but her make-up artist Valeria Ferreira inadvertently revealed the fresh hairstyle when showcasing James' smoky eye make-up on Instagram, after she appeared in an “In Conversation with Margaret Atwood” event at the National Theatre.
It's not the first time that the actress has inspired us to cut our hair. Back in late May, James unveiled the shortest hairstyle we'd seen on her to date, when she chopped her once Cinderella-esque tresses into a blunt blonde bob.
Since then, the Yesterday and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again star has experimented with both lighter and darker shades, but this latest rich chocolate colour adds a particularly flattering warm glow to her complexion.
Ferreira credited Halley Brisker as the hairstylist responsible for styling the actress' new hair into sleek face-framing curls, but it's not yet clear if he was responsible for her colour and cut transformation. The role of cutting James' hair has previously fallen to the celebrity hairdresser John MacPherson.
Whichever talent is behind James' new look, we are sure the actress will be posting about it very soon. In the meantime, why not follow her example and book a hair appointment for a fresh autumn cut.
