Last weekend, Meghan Markle officially became the Duchess of Sussex when she married Prince Harry. And, according to a new report, the former Suits actress is so elated to have met her prince that she's even been writing poetry about him.
The Sun is reporting, via a source who was allegedly a guest at the royal wedding's evening receptionat Frogmore House, that Meghan read a love poem out and dedicated it to Prince Harry. Prince Charles hosted the evening party, to which only an exclusive 200 guests were invited.
According to The Sun's source, "Meghan totally stole the show. It was the most special part of the entire day and the most unexpected."
Sadly, we're unable to read Meghan's love poem for Harry, but as the so-called guest reports, "She read her poem like the professional actress she is. Most of the room was ¬misty-eyed by the final line. Harry looked so proud and had to wipe away a tear."
And as for the contents of her poem, apparently the Duchess of Sussex "spoke about their first date and falling in love at first sight."
And to ensure that all of the guests were in floods of tears, "Meghan said she knew she had met her prince from the off and how blessed and lucky she feels to have found such a profound love" (via The Sun).
Meghan Markle has always been a person of many talents, and now apparently we can add accomplished poet to the long list.
