Today, TIME released its annual list of The 100 Most Influential People in the world, highlighting the year's biggest names, from Hillary Clinton and Adele to Leonardo DiCaprio, Priyanka Chopra and more. Representing the fashion industry, Karlie Kloss, Riccardo Tisci and Guo Pei all landed spots amongst the 2016 influencers.
Named the 'Model Millenial,' Kloss received a special profile written by none other than Diane von Furstenberg, whose spring campaign is fronted by the model. "As a model, a businesswoman, a young philanthropist and a force on social media, she doesn't just connect with her generation—she leads it, inspiring young women around the world to become the women they want to be, just as she has done so beautifully," the designer and CFDA president wrote about Kloss's coding education, Youtube channel and non-profit work.
On the designer front, both Riccardo Tisci and Guo Pei landed on the list of most influential artists. Tisci was hailed as "fashion's agitator" in a profile penned by Donatella Versace. She declared, "Riccardo is so brave and fearless, I sometimes think he must have Versace blood somewhere in his body."
Chinese couturier Guo Pei also landed a spot on the list following her rise to the spotlight after designing Rihanna's incredible gown at last year's Met Gala. Wendi Murdoch reflected on Pei's work as a couturier in a profile that looked beyond the ornate and intricately-designed Met Gala gown that took two years to make.
