Women from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, the UAE and more come together to discredit Arab stereotypes AND create a sartorial dreamland

Palestinian vlogger Haifa Beseisso was tapped by YouTube to become a global ambassador for their most recent campaign Creators For Change. Tasked with the challenge of creating a video that represents the change she'd like to see in the world. The results were a short film that was equal parts vulnerable and empowering, using sketch comedy and rap to call out and disprove negative Middle Eastern stereotypes.

"What I see in the movies has always upset me and I don’t believe is true to who we are," said Beseisso in a statement. "It was always my childhood dream to show the truth of the Middle East."

The film was shot with the help of women from across the Arab world, featuring their native countries as the backdrop and wearing traditional garments like abayas and kaftans while they rap about inclusivity and the unique beauty of the region.
