Bahrain-born Kuwait-based TV personality Sabrin Burshaid has died earlier this week after losing her battle with cancer.
Her father confirmed the news on Instagram, posting a heart-felt message on his page writing, “You were a gift to me and I enjoyed you for 34-years. You are a kind, caring girl.”
The Arab star announced she was battling cancer back in April. According to Egypt Today, Burshaid was suffering from three cancerous tumours in her brain and has been hospitalised for the past few months.
Social media has seen an outpour of responses from heart-broken fans.
“A beautiful soul with a heart of gold,” one follower wrote.
Heartbroken by yesterday's news of my Sabrin Burshaid passing. She has always been there for the community and I only ask that the community be there for her,” said another.
To God we belong and to Him we shall return.
