Up there with a select few of the biggest fashion Houses in the world, working with Dior is something that most budding fashion designers can only dream of. Yet that dream has come true for The College of Fashion and Design student Zinah Issa, who has been selected for the international mentoring programme Women@Dior.
A global project designed to enable cross cultural, cross generational and cross functional interactions, more than 300 mentees have already been accompanied by the Maison Dior Mentors since the programme was launched in 2017, guiding exceptional students from fashion, business and engineering schools around the world.
“Young women want to own their professional destiny, to be guided, and to share generously their experience,” said Karin Raguin, director of talent development at Christian Dior. The mentorship program has been extended to encompass 200 female students from ten cities around the world including London, Shanghai, New York, Dubai and Tokyo.
