Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance at Trooping the Colour this weekend, a ceremony held in honour of Queen Elizabeth’s official birthday (she celebrated her unofficial one on Easter Sunday with her family). The Duchess of Sussex was back in the limelight, stepping out at her first royal engagement since giving birth to baby Archie, despite still officially being on maternity leave. Prince Harry, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Cornwall were all in attendance, travelling in a royal carriage alongside Meghan.
The former actress looked radiant in a navy Givenchy ensemble, whilst Kate opted for a yellow Alexander McQueen dress. The world was so thrilled to see Meghan at a public event for the first time post-baby that we all missed the new jewellery she was sporting.
Looking closely at her left hand, three bands now adorn her ring finger. The first is her three-stone engagement ring, the second her wedding ring, and the third…? A super elegant pavé ring, it provoked much speculation from eagle-eyed fans. Some reckon it could be a push present from Prince Harry, following the birth of their son. Experts have ruled that the diamond-set band suggests an ‘eternity ring’, a marker of everlasting love and commitment between the couple. It’s a timely gift, since Meghan gave birth to Archie just over a month ago.
