Actor, popstar, producer – Will Smith has become both a household name and a man of legend since he bounced onto the Hollywood scene in the 1980s. And not just an outstanding career success story, Smith also boasts one of the longest marriages in the business – his relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith is now more than 20-years strong, with three children to boot. But just how much is Will really worth?
Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are one of Hollywood's longest standing couples
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Will’s net worth reached $350 million in 2019, with the Aladdin star raking it in from his multi-million dollar movie deals, musical brilliance and producing work. What’s more, Will’s wifey also credits a fortune of $50 million. This power couple has wealth.
While Smith’s musical catalog may be celebrated due to his hits in the ‘90s and early 2000s, his music career actually kicked off in the ‘80s – the era of DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. The duo made history by releasing the first dual album in hip-hop (on vinyl) and their single “Parents Just Don’t Understand” became the first to win the Grammy-Award for best rap performance.
It's the Men In Black star’s movie rolls that really rake in the dough, though – and having acted in over two dozen films (with another two scheduled to be released this year) – reports day Smith earned $20 million each for his roles in Ali and Hitch, a hefty $71.4 for The Pursuit of Happyness and $100 million for his reprisal of Agent J in 2013’s Men in Black 3.
Oh, and not forgetting Will’s show The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, which was an almost instant success, nominated for several Golden Globes and running for six seasons.
Add to this his Netflix partnerships, his cash flow through social media and his production company, Overbook Entertainment which he shares ownership with his wife Jada and film producer James Lassiter, we think it’s safe to say Will can retire happily.
