The video, filmed by Prince Harry, invites fans and royal watchers to celebrate Archie’s birthday. It shows a smiling. Meghan Markle reading to her son and prompts him with a "Ready?!" before reading the book, which Archie eagerly grabs and opens before letting out a cute giggle.
Archie was welcomed to the world on May 6, 2019 and was born at London’s Portland Hospital two days after which they revealed their bundle of joy.
He has also also received birthday wishes from members of the royal family which include the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, on their official Kensington Palace Instagram account, said: 'Wishing Archie a very happy first birthday today!'
While Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall said on the Clarence House Instagram account: 'A very Happy Birthday to Archie, who turns one today.'
During a charity zoom call Prince Harry elaborated on family time and said “There’s a hell of a lot of positives that are happening at the same time and being able to have family time — so much family time — that you almost think, ‘Do I feel guilty for having so much family time?’ You’ve got to celebrate those moments where you are just on the floor rolling around in hysterics.”
Despite the decision taken to step back from the throne Archie remains in the line of succession to the British throne and is currently seventh in line, just one position behind his father.
