To celebrate the Year of the Mouse, Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele has partnered up with Disney to release an iconic Chinese New Year capsule featuring the world’s most beloved rodent, Mickey Mouse.
To commemorate the capsule launch, Gucci has released what we feel, is the brand’s most fun campaign ever, shot entirely at Disneyland California. Featuring Ni Ni, Earl Cave and Zoe Bleu, the campaign follows Mickey Mouse through Disneyland as he hangs out with Gucci-clad fans and friends. Shot by photographer and director Harmony Korine, the campaign brings to life the magic of Disney and fuses it with Alessandro Michele’s vibrant, fashion forward aesthetic to create a carefree, uninhibited and nostalgic take on Gucci’s new capsule that is simply impossible to resist.
To celebrate the launch of the Chinese New Year capsule, Gucci will be launching a dedicated Gucci Pin Mickey Mouse Pop-Up will showcase the exclusive Mickey Mouse capsule from January 22 – February 18 within Dubai Mall’s Fashion Atrium.
