Tiffany & Co. Celebrates 130 Years Of Its Iconic Engagement Ring Setting

First introduced in 1886, the Tiffany Setting engagement ring continues today as an enduring symbol of exquisite craftsmanship and, of course, love. Go behind-the-scenes with Tiffany & Co. in their new “I WILL” campaign, as they unveil just what it takes to make the iconic ring
Charles Tiffany pioneered the Tiffany Setting 130 years ago, and it remains a popular choice for those who are putting a ring on it all these years later. The brand’s latest campaign, called “I WILL”, celebrates the artistry that goes into each and every ring and particularly emphasises the strict standards to which the ring makers adhere. “I will reject 99.96% of the world’s finest diamonds because there’s a difference between quality and Tiffany quality,” says chief gemologist Melvyn Kirtley. Diamond polisher Jorge Jimenez echoes this sentiment, saying, “I will polish a diamond’s 57 facets with exacting precision and if only 56 of them are brilliant, I’ll consider it a failure.”
