Kim Kardashian West’s Make-Up Line Is Predicted To Sell Dhs52.8 Million Worth Of Products In Five Minutes

When news broke that Kim Kardashian West was (finally) releasing a make-up line, it was inevitable that her creations were going to sell out. After all, the collection she designed in collaboration with younger sister Kylie for her cosmetics line – KKW by Kylie Cosmetics – sold out within minutes, so her track record is somewhat solid. WWD reports that the sales from the collaboration exceeded Dhs49.5 million and that 300,000 units sold out.
Her own collection however looks set to break that record, with WWD reporting figures over Dhs50 million. Industry sources have predicted the collection – Crème Contour and Highlight Kits which include a dual-ended blending brush, worth around Dhs176 per set – will sell out within five minutes and net a huge Dhs52.8 million for the reality TV star.
Given the unending interest in Kim’s make-up looks and personal beauty regime over the years, launching her own collection makes perfect sense. The star has been using her social media platforms to tease the collection in the lead-up to its release tomorrow, and as WWD notes Kim “wields a selling power that rivals behemoth in the space from L’Oréal and Estee Lauder to P&G, Coty and Unilever.”
