We're on day two of Eid al-Fitr here in the UAE, and it's most certainly a time of family, friends and celebration. We're relishing the opportunity to share meals and time with our loved ones across the long weekend, and it seems we're not the only ones.

Bella Hadid took to Instagram overnight to share a super sweet throwback photo of her and her family to wish her followers Eid Mubarak. She wrote, "Eid Mubarak. May God bless and bring peace to you all my friends and family. My Palestinian blood!!! I love and miss you! At our Teta's house in Virginia close to where I was born in D.C.!"

In the photo, a young Bella can be seen sitting next to older sister Gigi as they eat dinner. Clearly, the pair knew how to rock a tracksuit from an early age...

Bella, whose full name is Isabella Khair Hadid, has always been open about her background (her father Mohamed Hadid is Palestinian), telling Porter magazine earlier this year, "I am proud to be a Muslim."

The model wasn't the only member of her family to share the sentiment on social media, with both Yolanda and Mohamed also writing messages to their followers.

Eid Mubarak ... May God Bless You .. Fill your souls and hearts with peace.
