The DIFC gallery unveiled a group exhibition titled ‘GOLD’ earlier this month that features a glimmering mix of artworks by over 25 international and regional contemporary artists. Among the works on view are those by Iranian artist Ahmed Nejat and American artist Roy Nachum, popularly known for his braille-covered work featured on Rihanna’s latest ‘Anti’ album. At the opening, guests mused over the works boasting varied interpretations of the metal that is one of the region’s most beloved.
