Hard at Work: FENTY’s New Capsule Collection Pays Homage to Irving Penn’s Iconic ‘Small Trades’ Series

The new FENTY capsule has been created entirely out of faux leather

Faux leather never looked so good.

Pop sensation, fashion designer and beauty mogul Rihanna has released a special FENTY capsule collection, complete with innovative new designs and industrial inspiration.

Inspired by Irving Penn’s iconic series ‘Small Trades’, which documented workers in their uniforms, the capsule collection has been created entirely out of vegan materials.

The capsule features everything from hoodies to a corset dress – all in soft, supple material that reflect the practicality of a uniform.

FENTY promises “an innovative new fabric and elegant new color palette”, using quality craftsmanship to create a fabric that is light and comfortable yet still luxe. The addition of contrast stitching and embossed snap buttons gives the collection a subtle sense of chic.

The collection already has a celebrity following. Bella Hadid was spotted in a jacket from the line during Paris Fashion Week.
