BLACKPINK Makes History With Their Song That Crossed 2 Billion Views
DDU-DU DDU-DU becomes the first K-Pop group music video to ever surpass the number
After more than four and a half years, the DDU-DU DDU-DU music video surpassed 2 billion views on YouTube. The only other highly watched K-Pop music video to date is PSY’s Gangnam Style. However, in 2019 BLACKPINK’s music video Kill This Love had the group already breaking some records on YouTube by becoming the fastest video to hit 100 million views and being the biggest YouTube premiere of all time.

Founded in 2016 by YG Entertainment, the girl group of four quickly rose to fame with singles like BOOMBAYAH, Pink Venom and the currently news making DDU-DU DDU-DU.
BLACKPINK can attest to a meteoric rise. Being called the biggest girl group in the world, the South Korean K-Popstars have been honoured with the title Entertainer Of The Year 2022 by Time Magazine. Group members Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé are adored by millions of fans and reached out by luxury brands such as Dior, Saint Laurent, and Chanel to be their ambassadors.

The award-winning group does not fail to break records, write history and help making K-Pop a globally beloved phenomenon.
