Known for working together on Denis Villaneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s 1965 bestselling novel Dune and turning heads in coordinated ensembles on the red carpet, Hollywood might have a new friendship for the ages that the internet is already dubbing “BFF goals”.
Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet played Chani and Paul Atreides in the sci-fi blockbuster. The duo will return for the sequel — Dune Part Two — starring Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, and others, releasing on November 3 in the United States.
The actors attended the Warner Bros. presentation of their upcoming project during CinemaCon on April 25. Zendaya, as expected, made a statement in her head-to-toe Louis Vuitton ensemble.
Just days after appearing in her first campaign for the French luxury label’s Capucine collection, the stylish Louis Vuitton house ambassador stunned in a backless waistcoat with a leather strap and wide dress pants. In a now-viral clip, Timothée cheered on for his friend and co-star as she smized for the cameras. “Eat ’em up,” he exclaimed, hyping Zendaya up on the red carpet.

In an interview with E! News in October 2021, Zendaya recalled her experience working with Timothée on Dune. “Going in there, I was intimidated, but this guy made it such a warm environment to work [in],” said the 26-year-old actor.
She added, “Immediately I was like, ‘Oh, we’re going to be friends for life. Like, this is happening,'” Timothée also complimented his co-star on her Dune press tour looks, saying “She’s killing it.”
