Little Mahra is growing up so fast…
On Wednesday morning Her Highness Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum revealed a touching photo with her daughter on Instagram.
The little royal, who recently turned five-months-old, was matching with mum in a white dress, while Her Highness looked effortlessly elegant in a white button-down with dark trousers. Little Sheikha Mahra was born back in May 2024.
Her Highness had not shared any photos where her daughter’s face was clearly visible until today. This afternoon two photos were posted, carousel-style, on the Dubai royal’s official Instagram feed.

Back in September Her Highness announced her foray into the world of beauty. The announcement of the fragrance and her new perfume brand, Mahra M1, came just a few months after she gave birth to her daughter, Mahra.
“Caring for my child has become my utmost priority,” Her Highness told Harper’s Bazaar Arabia exclusively back in January 2024 during her cover shoot interview, a few months before little Sheikha Mahra was born. “It is essential to raise our children to reach their full potential, and in order to do so, I must hold myself to a high standard and serve as a model of exemplary motherhood.”
Her Highness also stressed how important it was for women to pursue their passions, similar to how she launched her fragrance brand just months after her daughter was born. “Additionally, it is important for women to have individual accomplishments outside of motherhood, as they possess a natural ability to excel in various areas,” she said.

Fragrance fans will be delighted to know that Mahra M1’s debut collection, Divorce by Mahra M1, is now available for purchase on the brand’s website. Description on the website reads that Divorce “…embodies confidence and new beginnings. Ideal for those who appreciate elegance and change.”
The price of the Divorce perfume is Dhs1,000, hair and body spray is priced at Dhs604, and powder at Dhs716, excluding the cost of shipping. The website also notes that shipping make take up to two weeks (likely for international shoppers), but may arrive within 2-3 days for local customers.
In August 2024 HH Sheikha Mahra thanked her father HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai, for his unwavering support.

“Dear Father, thank you for your support. Thank you for your love. Thank you for marking an era that justifies that there is justice for everyone. My respect and love, Mahra,” she wrote on the post, sharing a touching photo of herself hugging her father.
The Dubai royal and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia January 2024 cover star has been sharing more and more insight into her personal life throughout the past few weeks with her Instagram followers. Therefore, we can only assume she has been seeking out family support during tough times – like any daughter would.
HH Sheikha Mahra is very close to both sides of her family.
“I take great pride in embodying the values of being Emirati, which include being a symbol of love, family, kindness, and camaraderie,” Her Highness told Bazaar Arabia back in January 2024, touching on how she feels strongly connected to both of her parents and why family is so important to her.
“My upbringing was deeply rooted in Greek culture by my mother, and as a result, I feel a strong sense of connection to it. Maintaining close ties with my family is a significant priority in my life, as it serves as a means to remain closely connected to my cultural heritage.”
